    A Taste of the Danforth

    By Maureen Lau The Pilaros Taste Of The Danforth street festival is happening again this week from August 6th to 8th. A great summer tradition, the Taste Of The Danforth festival takes place on Danforth Avenue, with roads closed from Broadview to Jones Avenue to make room for shop booths, food stalls, and heavy pedestrian traffic. Every year, the Taste Of The Danforth celebrates Greek culture and the Danforth community by featuring traditional Greek dancing, music, and of course, food. The festival is also great for the family with festival-related activities for kids like “Build the Acropolis” or “Dress like an Ancient Greek” as well as other fun interactive entertainment…
