Street Style: Danforth Edition
By: Alexandra Davies
March has finally arrived, and we all know what that means – it’s almost spring! With spring comes warmth, and with warmth comes cropped, fitted jackets, pretty floral prints, and footwear that doesn’t require protector spray to ward off any unwanted salt. As we all know, Canada takes its sweet time to shift into spring mode. Alas, as we wait for the season to finally “spring,” we are forced to drudge through the leftovers of the icy terrains and multiple snowmageddons that have struck our town these past few months.
However, with the temperature (hopefully) on the rise, we have already spotted wintery looks incorporating some spring-inspired styles. Quilted leather accents on jackets and vibrant accessories are popping up everywhere along the Danforth. Stores are already cleaning out their winter pieces and swapping them with these fresh, runway-inspired styles.
In this week’s edition of Street Style, we bring you our favourite snowy outfits that incorporate little hints of spring.
