Street Style: Danforth Edition

By: Alexandra Davies

March 2014: the official month of bipolar weather. As you all have probably noticed, March has stricken the Danforth with a couple warm days full of sunshine and smiles, but has also thrown us a couple curveballs. Just as our streets became slush-free, Mother Nature decided to hit us with one of the year’s fiercest snowstorms (thanks for that, by the way!). Despite this unexpected and totally unnecessary whirlwind of a blizzard, the people of the Danforth were still out there rocking some serious spring-inspired styles.

The aftermath of the storm left the Avenue drenched in snow, but the people kept high hopes that spring is just around the corner (and perhaps just hiding under the ice). I have seen several fun and colourful outfits that suggest the Danforth is ready for a little sun and warmer temperatures.

As this is the last installment of Street Style for the year, I leave you with some inspiring getups that will help get you through this crazy month of March.

Signing off once and for all, I wish you the best, Danforth.

Sincerely,
That girl who chases fashionable people down the Avenue
