I stepped into Tips Nail Bar (848 Danforth Ave.) a few minutes before my appointment, and the first thing I noticed was how bright and clean everything appeared. The large storefront window and white décor made the salon open and inviting. I was welcomed by the friendly receptionist, offered a drink, and asked to sit on the couch while my technician set up.

Right on time, my technician introduced herself and brought me to her station. She was friendly and outgoing, and asked me what I had in mind for my manicure ($30) and nail art ($8+). I was initially thinking of a French manicure with a black lace accent, but my technician wanted to suggest something that better suited my personality. As she began shaping and buffing my nails, she asked me a few questions about myself. I loved that she took the time to learn about my style before making any design suggestions. When she recommended red tips with a black bow, I was thrilled with the idea. The design suited me so perfectly.

One Week Later

We continued a friendly conversation as my manicure progressed, and I was really impressed by her work. The final design looked fantastic. One week later, my manicure still looked great. A bit of wear on the tips is to be expected, but there were no major chips or cracks in the polish. Overall, I was quite pleased with my experience. The customer service at Tips Nail Bar was impeccable, and my manicure was well worth the money.
