Street Style: Danforth Edition
By: Alexandra Davies
Waking up and looking out the window to muddy snow, slushy sidewalks and blinding flurries leaves us all in a fashion quandary. We want to be practical, but that doesn’t have to mean we have to forgo our fashion. There are a couple of tricks to keep us in check, but my favourite is layering. Not only will you be extra bundled up, mixing a casual top with a textured knit cardigan will always be in style.
We may not be able to wish away the February chill, but the people of the Danforth have embraced the cold with cozy trench coats, sleek winter boots and more faux jackets than you could ever imagine. For some inspiration, I have selected the Avenue’s best style tactics that are as fashionable as they are warm.
